Lifestyle Programs
There are two lifestyle program options available to Plan members looking to participate in a health and wellness program:
- Weight Watchers
- CHIP (Complete Health Improvement Program)
These programs are intended to help you make wise decisions in developing good nutritional habits and help you reach your health and wellness goals. Participating in one of these programs earns you Activity Points and you can be reimbursed for 100% of the program costs after completing 80% of the program. A doctor’s order is required for Weight Watchers and CHIP programs in order to file for reimbursement from the Ascend to Wholeness Plans.

Weight Watchers is available to Accelerate Plan members only, but the CHIP program is available to both Accelerate and Access Plan members. Reimbursement eligibility requirements and reimbursement forms are available in the Resource Library.
Weight Watchers
Weight Watchers focuses on healthy eating and increased activity by using a ‘smart points’ plan based on calories, saturated fat, sugar and protein. Weekly group classes are available at local meeting sites.

Accelerate Plan members only are eligible to be reimbursed for this program.
Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP)
CHIP is a lifestyle enrichment program designed to reduce disease risk factors through the adoption of better health habits and appropriate lifestyle modifications. CHIP takes participants through an intensive educational program in 18 sessions spanning three months. The program is run as an all-inclusive package and is billed to participants as such. Accelerate and Access Plan members are eligible for reimbursement upon completion of this program.
